Expedition

Expedition is temporarily folded into Runes of Aldur for the 0.5.0 league, while the old standalone Standard implementation is disabled until later reintegration.

Runes of Aldur integration

• Expedition Remnants have been changed into Runes of Aldur Remnants.
• Logbooks now function as an ocean exploration mechanic.
• Using logbooks reveals ocean sections with islands to explore.
• Medved, Vorana, Uhtred, and Olroth are the four faction leaders available on new islands.
• Defeating Olroth grants a key for the Runes of Aldur pinnacle boss.

Temporary removals

• Expedition is temporarily disabled in Standard leagues because of the Runes of Aldur integration.
• The Recombinator is disabled.
• Omen of Recombination was removed, and existing copies are deleted on login.
• The Forgotten By Time Expedition Precursor Tablet is temporarily disabled from dropping.
• Legacy Expedition currencies can be sold to vendors for Gold.

Quality of life

• Expedition explosives now wait until most monsters from the previous explosive are killed before detonating.
• You can use currency from your stash to buy items from Expedition vendors.
• Several Expedition currencies were removed from the Currency Exchange.
• Old hideout versions of Rog, Gwennen, Dannig, and Tujen become non-interactable decorations.
• Use /reclaimexpeditioninventories to reclaim items left in deprecated Expedition inventories.
